A Summer Concert at Hoptons ‘The highlight of my year’

Friends of United St Saviour’s – Kate, Lizi and Rosa –  performed some beautiful pieces, from Schubert and Mozart to Doris Day, amongst roses at Hoptons Almshouse.  After a really challenging 3 months of lockdown, the concert was a great success (despite the weather), with one of our residents calling the Schubert piece, ‘The highlight of his year’.  Students Lizi and Rosa were astounded to hear that our resident Pamela (who turned 90 last week) had performed around the world with no less than Pavarotti – what a star!
