We are thrilled to welcome Barbara Reichwein to United St Saviour’s Charity in her new role as Head of Community Investment.
Barbara brings to United St Saviour’s a wealth of experience as her career has focused on tackling social justice issues and making the world a better place.
She brings extensive senior leadership experience across philanthropy, charities and social enterprises. Most recently, as Programme Director at Impact on Urban Health, part of Guy’s and St Thomas’ Foundation, she lead grant making that empowered people in Southwark and Lambeth to live healthy lives.
Previously, she supported women’s rights and healthcare in Africa and Asia as Director of Evidence at MSI Reproductive Choices. Her background includes work in young people’s education in the Middle East and in Latin America.
In her spare time, she is a passionate Londoner and admirer of all things past and present that the city has to offer. She is a school governor in Southwark and enjoys the sun, history and a good coffee.
We are delighted that Barbara has joined the team and her wealth of experience and insights will help us to support organisations across Southwark.
If you have any queries regarding our community investment programmes or grants, please email Barbara at breichwein@ustsc.org.uk. Barbara will be commencing her new role on Tuesday 22nd April.
